run #13 - Ute Pass

Not sure how I was able to get out of bed this morning, but I drug myself to the Incline Club. Ended up doing the Ute Pass out and back. Felt like hell, had nothing in the tank to get me up all the hills, but I stuck it out.

Start time: 8:00AM
Distance: 8.6 miles
Time: 1:39:46
Pace: 11:36 per mile (had to hike up a lot of those hills)
Weather: beautiful Colorado day, 37F.

I also did Ute Pass Trail yesterday afternoon. The first part up to the water tower was tough but after that I got into my stride and felt OK. (I have a really bad chest cough so was struggling a bit). Came back down the Pipeline Trail which is much prettier.

Yes, I really do train with the Incline Club. No autographs, please! I can't run with Matt C but I can hold my own and even claim one of the coveted top ten finishes for the club at Pikes (in the Double).
