Came home from work last night to find my apartment underwater. Seems a pipe broke and the drainage wasn't working. Thanks to Z and Lincoln for helping bring the situation under control.
Damn Brownie, You have an excuse for everything: "I can't go to beer mile 'cause I have to work. I can't go to Arctic 'cause my crib flooded." I bet the couch got wet too. My hat better not be wet!!!
(Seriously dude, if you need anything, you know you can give a hollar...)
Damn Brownie, you poor thing you have the shittiest luck lately! Call if you need my shop vac or anything......I can steal some more of NBNs dry socks too if you need. Um...yeah, just call me if you need some help homes. 717 Forever C-4
I talked to Brownie today all. There's a clean-up crew working on drying out the floors, and he's moving into the apartment upstairs (it was empty) while all the repairs are going on.
He thinks his computer ate it in the flooding, but the insurance adjuster will be cutting him a pretty nice check.
We probably won't see anything on his blog for a week or so, at least until his place is dry.
Call him and tell him Merry Christmas.
Brownie, I got a shot of Maker's Mark here with your name on it if you want to come on over.

So did my Christmas present get wet??? I hate soggy wrapping paper. Guess you won't have to water the tree today.
We stole his whiskey, and he has a picture of us drinking beer in his kitchen, ankle deep in water ...
Hope you found some dry socks, you wanker!
Can you believe this wanker isn't coming to the beer mile?

That sucks! If you lived closer, you're more than welcome to crash at my place. I hope too much crap didn't get ruined.
Holy crap! So sorry to hear about that. Hope things are drier today.
