'Couple guys from CRUD ran the short course yesterday, and Harsha took a few pics. See 'em here. Looks like the long course will be closer to 35 miles, and the Ute Trail "shortcut" will put you around 24 miles.
Me? BLOS and I did a nice 3:45 long run in Cheyenne Mountain State Park. Then another 12.5 miles this morning. BLOS seems to be in pretty decent shape, depending on how much he drinks the night before NOLA, I wouldn't be surprised to see him nab a PR there...

CMSP is a great place to run - much mud up there yesterday?
This is going to be a great run! Hopefully I'll be able to making it to the start after trying to keep up with you on Friday night (running AND drinking).
I once drank 6 beers in one day and ran over 5 miles in a day too. I'm pretty badass.
6 beers=night cap. i'm a midwesterner, remember? joe sixpack? anyway...
i've got 7 greenies under my belt now. i'm cruising, man. breakfast and lunch are now in liquid form. which got me thinking about another group of people who take their food in liquid form: babies.
this is a fact: if you suck on your girlfriend's teets on a daily basis (with persistence), they will begin to produce milk just like she had made a baby for you (or someone, or whatever).
the kenyans have known this for years. where is america at on this amazing dietary discovery? dathan can change his form all he wants...it's what he's eating (or not drinking, in this case) that's amiss.
i'm at the forefront of the cutting edge...on my tip-toes.
6 beers = breakfast.
Not much mud out at CMSP. Thinking of getting a state parks pass to go there more often.
