But the Terrible Towel is Terribly Lame, at least (and especially) in comparison to the cheesehead. (Same goes for the unrelated Homer Hanky of the Minnesota Twins). It is a last-minute, half-assed Halloween costume sort of idea. Good sports paraphernalia, no matter how stupid looking, should at least have something to do with the team or state or mustache of the coach.
