I will be boycotting Quinn's tonight and not wearing my shirt on Sunday due to their raising of beer prices. And when they start charging a cover, which I believe will happen soon, I will no longer go to that yuppie bar.
Yeah, but I got the shirt way back when the club was still cool, before the CS yuppies took it over and made it into the Jack Quinn's resume builder/networking club. Now that they have their numbers they'll jack up the prices and start charging cover to get the people who actully like running and drinking to stop coming.
It takes FOREVER to get a beer in the summer. Sometimes, in the winter when it's snowy and cold or in the summer when it's t-storming, only a few of the die-hards go and then it's a lot more fun.
I think I'm just gonna start and end at the Red Rocks Lounge each tuesday now. Imagine having the option to do a road run through Manitou or trail runs through Red Rocks Open Space or the GOTG! The bar has much more character too, and hence it has a lot less snobs that go there!

Damn, and I never made it up to one of the "cool" runs.
p.s. Dang. The last run had 251 runners? That's insane. How long did it take to get a beer?

Does their increase in prices have anything to do with the overall increase in the cost of a keg?
