let's be careful out there...

Lulu recently posted about a cyclist killed in Austin, and we had one over in Manitou Springs last night. As I was headed back to the COG railway for my Thursday Barr Trail workout, I passed a downed cyclist who was surrounded by EMT's and police. I saw the bottom half of the biker and got that weird feeling you get when you see a dead person. Ruxton Ave is always crazy with runners and hikers and bikers and tourists, it was an unfortunate reminder to be alert back there.

To end this post on a good note, congratulations to QnA for making his first trip up to Barr Camp!

Too many cyclists are killed because people are just simply not paying close enough attention. We all need to be careful out there - driving, cycling and even running.
