Thinking of breaking down and subscribing to Sirius radio. In the middle of a three day free trial, and I'm loving Channel 17 - Jam On. Dead, Phish, Umphrey's McGee, Robert Randolph, String Cheese, Panic, Mule, Keller, and a bunch of other jambands I listen to. Think they also have most of the major sports too.
Anyone ever use this? Is it worth twelve bucks a month? What kind of receiver should I get?

XM here. I think it's great. Bryan streams Sirus at work so they can listen to stern. I definitely think satellite radio is worth it. I think you get get a receiver at best buy. they're all pretty much the same. You do need a separate one for the car and the house, though.
I have XM in the car cuz DC radio blows goats. Satellite radio is definitely worth the 12 bucks, I pay quarterly and have it pulled from my account, I never miss the cash. 120+ channels of what you want to listen to instead some mindless drivel from some over paid wanker who likes to hear him/herself talk. Install was a cakewalk, did it myself in 15 minutes. I can play XM at work and if I was really hard up, I can use my car receiver in the house.
BTW, do you know who's flying into where for CoTex? No wankers have responded to our ?'s about rides to/from the event. Any info on your end?
