Was out the door just after dawn this morning for my run to the Y. Was greeted with this sight (yes, this is my luxourious back yard). Mid-May, and it's still snowing. Haven't been able to get a glimpse of the Peak, but I hope it's not too bad as I'm hoping for another summit attempt on Monday or Tuesday. As much as I'd love for it to warm up and melt all the snow, I'm glad for the precipitation, Colorado has been under some major forest fire conditions lately.

Man, I'm jealous! It is like a freakin' sauna here in Houston. Enjoy it!

I've got a happy medium here in the burgh. I think I would be very upset if I had to live in the snow in May.
On the plus side, the Hubby is up for visiting CO sometime, so we should work out some details the next time you're around.

Why would you run to the Y when the Y has such a sweet indoor track encircling the weight machines? You should do all your long training runs on that track.

I'm on a quest to use less gas to force the layoff of Eargasm so Firetunnel doesn't have to go to Saudi. I don't use my jeep for anything under three miles.

And the Y has a 22-laps-to-the-mile track, I think I'd get dizzy running on there.

Snow....cool....it's 85 in Austin, but not a sauna like Houston.
