yep. dead soldiers is one thing. Numbers is another. 4k+ over how many years? 5? 6? If people are so interested in numbers, and people dying, how about the 40k+ (200k in 5 years) that die every year on US roads, the 100k+ (500,000k in 5 years) that die in hospitals due to medication errors every year, the 20k+ (100,000 in 5 years) kids that die every year due to avoidable accidents. Why aren't they pining about those numbers also and doing something about it. They're also needles deaths.

(and no, i'm not minimizing soldiers deaths) Numbers as a propaganda tool is a cop out!

I take and post a picture of that same sign every time I go to Salida. To remind folks that, whatever you think about the war, American soldiers are being killed every day. I could care less about the number of Iraqis who have died over there.

More people who are in the hospital should die, so I support medication errors. That's why I took down my "100,000 people die every year due to medication errors" sign I had in my driveway, people were thinking it was a protest sign when it was actually a thank you note to the medical profession.

well, we'll agree on the iraqi thing, cause I really don't give a rats ass how many they take out over there. :) as for medication errors, as long as it's not me, or someone I know. :D

and...you're welcome, from me and the medical profession staff. hahaha
