Leadville course change?

Looks like they're gonna stick with the course from last year at Leadville. I liked it much better, if only because I've dropped out at treeline before and it's fine with me to avoid it.

Where you getting this?

This will cause issues for quite a bit if the record is not broken by anything less than a half an hour.

I got that info from my Pb spies. Several of them lost their lives getting the info over the mountains.

Idiots, they should have just checked the Pb yahoogroups page.

More road = better? All this Boston talk is doing funny things to your head.

To GZ's point, why change an established course if you don't have to? MC's record is one of the firmest 100-mile CRs out there. People can say what they like, but a CR ain't a CR unless you're running the same course as others before you have.

I guess the CR to chase now is Parr's 17:30 from last year. Too bad.

I don't think it's that much faster than the old course. I hated that dirt road back to the treeline aid station, way too much traffic.

Nick, the Pb trophy is awesome, could you win it for me this year?
