it's official!

I got the vacation approved. I bought a fancy $10 map. My Grand Canyon Rim-to-Rim-to-Rim run is on! 42 miles, from one side of the Grand Canyon to the other. And then back. Anyone who has done this before have any advice? Any good bars down in that area for rehydration purposes?

Leaving very early on April 10th. Doing the run on April 11th. Doing the tourist thing on April 12th. Then coming back on the 13th.

Wanker Boy - E-mail me if you have any big questions. We went north to south one way a couple years ago and is one of the best runs we've ever had. Plan on big temp changes from the rims to the river. Don't forget to get a shirt at Phantom Ranch, it's the only place they sell them is at the bottom. There is a bar right at the top of the trail on the south rim that does have cold frosty adult beverages on tap.

The Grand Canyon is by far the most beautiful, spiritual place I have ever been...you are gonna love it. Don't fall off a cliff...that is my advice to you.
