Dog bites aside, had a great run today. From Memorial Park, we went out Ruxton Ave to the Ute Pass. Over to Waldo Canyon. Back up Long's Ranch Road. Long's Ranch was a killer, like walking up steps for three or four miles. I basically had to hike the entire thing. Tough run, and I'm hurting like hell now. But a great five hours, the longest I've gone since Bandera.
Looking forward to this week, as two trail running buddies of mine, Melissa and Pete, are coming in for some altitude training. Week will cap off with the Salida marathon! Woohoo!
Off to see game three of the Colorado College hockey game tonight. Playoffs, so this game is win or go home.
