Aspen four pass loop

Thinking of camping at the trailhead Sat night and running the thing on Sunday. Anyone wanna join me?

This guy did it, so how hard can it be?

I was in the area this weekend, but that thing would take me two days, even if I left my camera in the car.

Did finally make it up Castle Pk/Conundrum.

The word is that the downed trees are removed, so figure on 1 hour faster at least. Plus the standard Leadville half an hour difference you can already subtract!

Shoot, I was going to put up a post for possibly Ten Mile Traverse this Saturday (possib could switch it to Sunday) and was gonna see if you were interested...or Bel/Ox/Mo (Em/Iowa?), or Pawnee-Buchanan.. Same deal for the following weekend if that works out, interested?

Damn, I wanna do that Bel/Ox/Mo route. Tried it once and was chased back by weather.

What is the Ten Mile Traverse?

Following week is Telluride.

Zion Traverse on Oct 8th if you can get out there. 45ish miles.

It sounds weak and short when I put the space in incorrectly...so, more like "Tenmile Traverse" from Frisco to Breck.

Just one of the things on the list -- unfortunately Aspen Four-Pass was already checked off, so we're out of sync, but is a beautiful route. Even more out of sync: a FC group is planning on R2R2R Oct 8th! Thinking mostly about that since it's a classic that I haven't done.

Damn, now I wanna do the Tenmile as well.

Definitely go to the GC. Run of a lifetime. I highly suggest going down S. Kaibab and coming back up Bright Angel.

Wow, the Tenmile Traverse looks pretty tough. Some real exposure in those pics.

>Bel/Ox/Mo

Took me three tries just to get over to Oxford. Either my bad timing, or that ridge just gets the weather. Windy as hell too, all 3 times.
