Thurs

AM - Wanted to hit the final PPRR Garden run of the year, but had to bail in favor of 30 minutes with the dog around Woodmore Park. Found out the guy who always carries the POW flag in local races lives in Pleasant Valley. Good addition to the PV cross-country team with me, Kyle, Muzzy, and Kute. Plus, we've waiting on the trade of the century - Jillian for O'Day - to go through...

1400 miles on the year.

Hey Brownie!
I just blog-jumped to you and see that you are in the SJS50. So am I. Do you have a goal in mind - for the normal course?

I'm guessing around 11:30, but so much depends on the snow up high and the weather that day. If they had a special hat for sub-11 I'd go for it, but since they don't I'll probably just mosey on in sub-12 and save myself for drinking at the Packer Bar later that day.

Ha! That is my plan, also. I'm taking my Indiana lungs there for an adventure, so I hope they don't change the course. I expect to push it harder at the Silver Rush when my legs an lungs are more mountain seasoned. You are a funny guy and a vet. Many of those in my family. Looking forward to meeting you!
