Got my first Red Rocks tickets of the season - John Butler Trio on August 12th. This will be the seventh time I've seen the band, including the first time I stumbled onto these guys playing a free show at Waterloo Records in Austin several years ago.

Gotta love ticketmaster math. Two $30 tickets equals $86.75.

To further prove I'm not an ultrarunner anymore, I'm going to post video of a band that people have actually heard of before:

I have never heard of that band. They must suck.

I am also not a REAL ultrarunner because I am not a dirthead (one with nature) flannel shirt and corduroy wearing hippie. I shower too much for that. I am also not a 21st century digital tri-wannabe gadget geek.

I just wish there was a place for people like me to plug into the ultra social pipeline and belong.

I think my next post will hit on this subject.

I've heard of them, but that doesn't mean they suck any less...

Ultrarunning is happy to no longer have to claim you. You were bringing too much reproach upon the glamourous and illustrious sport.
