Been thinking of adding another ultra to my list. Need to have something in September to keep me motivated after Leadville so I'm still good to go in October for Oil Creek. Luckily, two ultras I've been wanting to do are in September. Unluckily, they're on the same day, September 19.

I was thinking of doing the Steamboat one because it is closer, I just have not told Ashley yet. Don't want to bring it up until after Bighorn. Of course that is assuming I still want to run races and not just work on the 14ers the rest of the year.
Steamboat is kind a pricey this year (if that's a concern). I think they changed the course this year to get rid of some of the forest road and add more singletrack. Scenic course with a fair amount of climbing - pretty well organized, for the most part.
I think the clincher for you, however, is that they had unlimited free beer at the post-race bash.
