Hashathon

News article on the Hashathon, a trail "race" put on by the Rumson H3. The Burnet Road Challenge was basically a knock-off of the RH3 "Ten Miles/Ten Bars" event, and I often pondered putting on an event such as the Hashathon. Think the Rogue trail runs have taken that place though.

Mark Griggs is Latecummer, who has hashed in Austin several times. Even hared the TXIH pre-lube pube crawl with me a few years ago.

WTF... this "hashathon" doesn't sound like a "race" it IS a RACE. Race times, winners, plaques for 1st-3rd place, and no mention of beer! There's nothing wrong with hashers running races, or being race director for them, but please don't call it a hashathon when it clearly is not!
