crappy shoes/HR/Salida Marathon


Hard to tell from that pic, but I blew out a new-ish pair of Montrail.  Probably had 250 miles on 'em, half of which were easy dog walks or office miles at work.  Blech.

I've never had good luck with Montrails. A few years ago I bought some Montrails Hardrocks and they gave me blisters from hell.

Stupid question since I see nothing on their site to the contrary, but is the Salida marathon really mail/paper registration only?
