Zion is awesome, but I think there are cooler parts of the park that the traverse keeps you away from. For a lifetime list, I'd have the Grand Canyon above this one.
I'll be there next month.We're doing Bryce and Zion. Looking forward to some more information. We found the Canyon De Chelly even better than the Grand Canyon, although that run into Havasu Falls looks amazing. Remember to bring beer though, the Navajo Reservation is dry for 200 miles around.
