silverton

Stole this of SJ's blog. Great shot of Silverton, the start of Hardrock. Hardest thing I've ever done, and the net distance traveled is zero.

If I remember correct, you wrote a race report shortly after swearing off HR.... It's OK JT! I do the same thing and find myself signing up every year. I hope you and Rick get in 'cause then it's just like kickin' SCRUDs ass TWICE!

Shit, I know the course now. That ass thumpin' Kyle gave you will look like a sprint finish compared to what SCRUD has in store for you this year!

Been there in 90, long before CO became such a draw for all the out-of-state fags. Does that go by Silver Creek mine?

The course goes by quite a few abandoned mines, but I don't think that's one of 'em.

A lot of Texans live in Lake City, home of the San Juan Solstice and close to an aid station at Hardrock. Texas flags all over the place as well as Lone Star and Shiner available at every bar. It's kinda weird.
