Padre - the big reason for south to north is that $100 has always wanted to visit Banff, and I'd like to hang there with her for a few days without having the big ride hanging over my head. I also like the cooler New Mexico portion while giving a bit more time for the mountains to melt and dry out.
Any idea what Garrett K is up to these days? He was mentioned in a Gazette article about AF football the other day.
