Yes, folks, that's ten bars in less than a mile! And it's possible we'll add two more bars for an even dozen.

Elvis wants to know if you've ever been to a bar on Nevada called Murphy's Tavern.
In 2000, it was free Red Wolf after 11pm from the gay bartender. Seems right up your alley!
Never been there, though I've been to Navajo Hogan (next door) and Robin Hood (across the street).
p.s. Shouldn't this be called the Platte AVENUE Challenge?!
