support your local record store!

Saturday is National Record Store Day! So head down to your local record joint and show 'em some love! Let 'em know that iTunes isn't taking over the music world. Me, I'll be picking up the new Apocalyptica album so I can sharpen up my mad air-cello skillz for the big show on Tuesday. Of course, I'll then be ripping off record stores by burning the CD and sending it to a bunch of friends...

It isn't the megastores killing mom&pop record stores - its copywrited violators. Worse that the stores, it hurts the artists who's work is being stolen.

I've bought my last three or four CDs directly from the bands themselves. No screwing the artist there!

I have never spent money on itunes and I don't intend to. Stupid apple products...

True, Smut. I'm sorry that the members of Apocalyptica will probably starve on their current world tour because I bought their album and burned a few copies. The perils of being a rockstar. Think you could spare a few bucks for Lars Ulrich, I know his pocketbook has really been emptied from pirated Metallica albums.

I haven't bought any Metallica nor listend them since they changed from speed-metal to yet another penis-less boyz choir.

Say what you want to justify burning illegal copies to yourself. The poor soul who took your jeep top can probably justify his actions too.

So can the poor souls who shoot defenseless animals!

You didn't like St. Anger?

"defenseless animals" - huh???

Never heard anything since the black album on the radio that moved me. Saw the special on the making of it on VH1, could have been MTV??? Anyway, I couldn't get past what a bunch of panzies they've become.
