You can see how close I was to pulling out the victory in the bottom pic.We got a nice gimmie bag which included a toothbrush and toothpaste from a local dentist. At the start of the race, the RD said, "please be sure to use those, we don't want Salida to start looking like Leadville."

You must have a huge race entry fee budget.
I tracked my spending (including race entry fees, travel costs, food and booze) last year and racked up about three grand. Probably on pace for about the same this year. Well worth it in my opinion.
