Guess I've known this for a long time and have been in denial, but it looks like Rosie's brewpub in Leadville has closed. The country's highest brewpub, I would go there often after my mountain adventures to refuel on the Mt. Massive Malt Liquor. In fact, besides Trinity and Arctic, it was my most visited brewbub. Last time I was there was back in January after the snowshoe race, and they've been closed every trip I've made to the area since then. And I just tried to call 'em, but the phone number has been disconnected. Sigh...Methinks some kind of unofficial memorial service will be held after the Leadville 100.
