Finished book #1 for 2010. Good read if you're into outdoor stuff. Also a good glimpse into the search & rescue process. Nine more to go for the year...
if you haven't already read it, I suggest you add "Running with the Buffaloes: A Season Inside with Mark Wetmore, Adam Goucher, and the University of Colorado Men's Cross-Country Team" to your reading list. I think you'd like it. It is available at Amazon.com.
"Running With the Buffaloes" is on my list! Need to find someone to borrow it from...
I've read AB's book, as well as several others concerning the whole Into Thin Air shindig. Makes me happy I like to stay away from the mountains in the winter.

Dude, I loved that book. Not as good as Ralston's book, though.
Loved that book. Really captures the backwoods parks and its most dedicated employees.
If you haven't yet, treat yourself to Anatoli Boukreev's book "The Climb". Quick read and excellent.
