Yes folks, that was my blazing time at yesterday's Bolder Boulder. I was out of shape at last year's Pueblo half marathon and I still beat that time. But I may have had as much fun as anyone out there, and I'm pretty sure I drank the most booze out of the 55,000 or so runners. Here are the final stats. Not too hard to see which mile had the hash beer check.

overall place: 37252
location: Manitou Springs, CO
division: M33
division place: 456 out of 483

mile 2: 00:09:07.01
mile 3: 00:09:00.93

mile 5: 00:08:26.93
mile 6: 00:45:11.27
net time: 01:31:29.44

And you were runninf about that speed this am.
Hilarious. I lingered a minute at a beer stop at about 5.5 miles. Why does beer taste so good at 8am in a race? Oh, yeah, because it always taste good.
I had three cans of PBR before the race, stopped five times for beer during the race, did a shot of vodka right after the slip and slide, and stopped twice for bacon. On top of the bottle of Boone's Farm I drank at the hash beer check. We're all an experiment of one and what works for me may or may not work for you, but I don't suggest you follow that sort of plan for Bighorn.
I think I'm a little hung over just reading your comment.
Regarding your aid station at hardrock post, shit, 4 hrs? You can definitely knock that down and get into the lower 30s for a finish with the knowledge you have now. No bacon or beer either.
That is a damn slow time. You should be ashamed. =)
