Things have been pretty awful, running wise, since Friday afternoon. 3.7 painful miles on Saturday, nothing on Sunday, 4.2 miles on Monday, and three miles yesterday. Nothing today. In the past five days, I haven't even equalled the average daily mileage I've had over the past four months.
But one shitty week can't take away that much fitness. The glute is feeling better. I'll be 100% by Monday.

The time you save by not running gives you more time for beer. Never a bad thing!

You will feel 100% by race day. Just keep up the positive attitude. You have put in a lot of work and it will pay off. After this race, just stay away from roads for a LONG time.
Is that an offer by Jillian to work out the kinks from your bum? Take it!

Don't worry too much. You will be in shape for that sub 2:19 and trip to the trials. If not you have a good reason....but the advice above sounds spot on, I would suggest Sierra Nevada and stay off the PBR at least until you are 100%.
Really good luck and have a ball on Patriots Day, and watch out for the Tea Party Folks who may be out in force; ironic day for Patriots Day to fall on this year.
