Just as I had started to get into a routine, a wrench is thrown. Dog has been sick, and someone has to be around to let her outside. Was hoping for a big bike day on Wednesday, but could only squeeze in 20 miles on the way to and from work. Slipped out for a five mile run this morning (45 minutes), but I'll be in the house the rest of the day while $100 is at work. Don't know how you people with kids do it.

Young kids = treadmill. Sometimes that's just the only way.
Bummer.
I'm up right now with a fever, and both the kid and Mom are sick also. So double-whammy of taking care of kid when you're sick, too.
Not complaining, but it's the 4th time I've been sick in the last year. Used to average once every 2 years. First time now we've all been sick at the same time. Before kids (OK, just one, even), I was indestructible!
Both of your kids are still young enough to drop off at any fire station, FYI. That's my advice.
And (despite your previous comment) I forgot to elaborate, sorry that your dog's sick and hope she gets better soon!
