Gazette

For the second time in my life I was in a front page article in our local rag this morning.  Read it here.  Warning: it involves real life and some of the bad issues of alcohol not normally seen on this blog.

For those who know where I live, the bridge this guy lives under is very close to my house.  The pizza joint mentioned is next to the Red Rock Lounge.

Fine. I will say you are a good dude who probably won't totally go to hell now.

"He says he doesn't have a drinking problem," Teisher said. "He said he could quit any time." Is this what you call irony?

+1 to both comments.
But we're not supposed to question drinking, anorexia, or family issues with Other Runners. Especially Ultrarunners! They get a free pass because they run a lot.

Seriously, good work JT. I'm getting tired with boring running stuff lately. To Anon, a defining aspect of abuse is if it causes problems with relationships, jobs, etc. I don't see that in JT yet. But if we do, there will be an intervention -- we will steal his beer.

"Teisher went under the bridge and woke Calvin up at 8:15 a.m. to get him to the job workshop" > That is even better than hearing about the latest brew pub I didn't beat you to first.

It's a bridge we've all run over during the fat ass. A whole 'nother world going on ten feet below.

Pretty stoked that Evil Eye was mentioned as a best seller on the Westside!

Can we have some evil eye next week?

Great writeup!
