On this day in 1942 Albert Stephen Ignatius Gispert, Second Lieutenant, 2nd Battalion, Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, was killed by invading Japanese troops on Dairy Farm Road, Singapore.
Raise a cold one in tribute to our departed founding father.
