Wanted to make it up to Barr Camp last Sunday, but a freak snowstorm turned me around just below the W's. Didn't have the needed gear to go any higher. It's friggin mid-May already, time for this snow crap to stop! Now there's a good layer of snow from what appears to be the false summit of the incline up to the top of Pikes.
