Barr Camp

Had a great run this morning, and made it all the way up to Barr Camp. Took just over two hours to get up there (7.6 miles) and eighty minutes to get back down. Also chilled at the cabin for about twenty minutes, drinking hot chocholate.

Legs were a bit sore from yesterday, but they loosened up pretty quickly. Trail was snow covered, but not too slippery. Weather rocked. Overall, it was a perfect day.

Barr Camp is awesome! I was in too much of a hurry during the Ascent to check it out. It's an A frame cabin located slightly more than halfway up Barr trail. I'm already planning on reserving a bunk there for my first hike up Pikes once the weather warms up a bit, make it a two day jaunt.
