muscoco overnight

I've had some good times on Muscoco over the years.  Looks like my first time was back in 2006 sporting a pair of Montrail Hardrocks.  Our first non-neighborhood dog hike was in the area.  My first overnight was with Kircher less than a year ago.

Decided to break all the rules on Friday as Marc and I got out of the house for another overnighter to Muscoco.  First stop, of course:

The expansion of Fossil is almost finished and it looks fantastic.  Maybe someday we'll be able to sit around the new bar.

9.5 miles up High Drive and back down the Canon to the trailhead.  Then another two plus miles of hiking to get to the summit.  So over two hours once we leave Fossil until we are cracking our first crowlers.

Didn't see another person until we were on our way down on Saturday morning.  Lots (and lots and lots) of cars on both High Drive and Gold Camp Road all night though.
