Finished, with an unofficial time of 9:54:16. Hardest run I've done, seriously considered dropping out at the 50K mark and again at 36 miles. Good to have my first CO ultra out of the way though. More info once I feel up to it.
Nine hours is almost in stud range. Now if you can only learn that it's better to be a great hasher than a stud runner your life would get into focus. Nine hours does rock though! After the way I felt this weekend, I'd still be out there right now.
Congratulations!
ReplyDeletePussy. I would have breezed through it on my ATV.
ReplyDeleteStop wearing that neon green finishers shirt. You're blinding me 1200 miles away.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! i think you're crazy, though!
ReplyDeleteWay to hang in there dawg
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, that sounds like an awesome run. I had some good runs at Guadalupe this weekend, but these Tejas mountains just aren't the same...
