Pretty low mileage week with two rest days thrown in, this is sorta a short off-season for me. Kept the quality up though. Good run at Trinity on Monday, great quarter workout on Tuesday, and despite the slow time I was happy with the race on Saturday.

My 19:31 qualifies me for the AA wave at Bolder Boulder. But I think I'm gonna start racing the shorter distances a lot more, so I should get an A wave qualifier before too long.

  1. Will you cut it out with this fancy "goal" crap. Makes me have to up my game. I am currently sitting comfortably in the AB wave. Pretty sure I can move up to AA with my Turkey Trot 10k. But A...that would be tough.

  2. I think the 5K route is the way to go. You can pound out an 18:20 before BB!

    5k - < 18:20
    10k - < 38:00
    13.1 - <1:24:05
    26.2 - <2:55:34

    I got no shot on any of those! I will be a solid AB.

  4. There's no beer in the AA wave, have fun back there. As for me, I'll be busy kicking that gorilla's ass.
